The Beginning To A Better Ending. That's me, the quiet one popping her fingers in the corner. At the moment I'm feeling acutely awkward. I really don't know anyone in this room except for my "x" and his new girlfriend, not exactly prime candidates for conversation.

Tear the World DownOn a lonely hill sits a desolate home, where the dead trees whisper your name, and
the executioners hang traitors and allies alike. Black roses fill the air with a scent of sweet
nostalgia and decay. Solitude became a companion, and shadows beckon your way.
Hope gave you false premonitions, and when you dance, leaves fill the dying heart,
giving way yo the nightmares that welcome the darkest corners of your mind.
A girl, too young to grasp sin's threat, came outside slowly, with a story in one hand,
a basket in another. The basket was filled with books, novels, excerpts that distracted her
from the haunting scenery. Her white dress was blowing softly, tattered and torn, resembling
eerily that of a wedding dress. The flowers lodged in her hair were withered, the same as
the world she lives in has died. It's a shame really.
The young girl was all alone, yet she hadn't cared. Not a friend nor enemy in this
fantasy. It must have been lonely. You wonder if

Sharp claws rake into my skin
as my blood bursts forth to splatter against the ground
The uneven breathing of my foe
tells me that he too is wounded and close to death

I think of that first when I hear it.
27 letters, the letters in alphabetical order.
Obsessive-9 letters, Compulsive-10 letters, Disorder-8 letters. I multiply them.

That's only with words.
When I go to the washroom, I clean my hands
3 times for 30 seconds each time.
I dry each of my hands for 30 seconds.
And and blink 3 times as I merrily walk out, knowing everything's okay.

Intelligence Being smart is a very important part of life. Especially for me. But lately, I've been told differently. All growing up I was called stupid and retarded for stuff I did, and now I try and make up for it. Grades have always been my deal. Now I'm making Cs and it's not acceptable, no exceptions. I try and I try and I've finally hit realization like a smart slap in the face (No pun intended).
People tell me I'm special and smart, but the truth of the facts are no one is special. I'm smart and insightful, but I'm not smart enough to get straight As. I can sing well for an Alto, but I can't hit a note past So on the Sol Fege scale. I c

Even though it's not all over.
          Surviving is like a four leaf clover.
It's almost always good luck.
          Though, you might seem like a sitting duck,
You're a true hero.

          People should look up to you.
You're a true fighter.
          You're proof it does get brighter.

          You're the one.
